Robert Pattinson Says The Batman 2 Fight Scenes Have Him “Feeling His Age”
Robert Pattinson says filming fight choreography for The Batman 2 has him “feeling his age,” although 40 is still relatively young.
“I’m definitely feeling my age when fighting a lot,” Pattinson told GQ. “I’m literally like, ‘Goddamn, this is significantly harder than it used to be.’ But it’s really fun. And I think the movie’s going to be pretty great. It’s got a really, really fun cast, but it’s a marathon.”
Filming Is Underway
The Batman arrived in theaters in 2022, while The Batman 2 was initially scheduled for release in October 2025. That date has since passed, but filming is now underway in Glasgow, Scotland.
Numerous set leaks have also surfaced, offering exciting glimpses of the production. The most recent featured an all-out car chase between the Batmobile and the Gotham Police Department.
Story and Cast Details
The movie’s plot remains unknown, although it will take place a few weeks after The Penguin Season 1. Colin Farrell will return as Oz Cobblepot.
Sebastian Stan has been rumored to play Harvey Dent, also known as Two-Face, but his shaved head on set may indicate that he is instead portraying the villain Victor Zsasz.
Either way, Pattinson cannot start feeling old just yet, as he is still needed for at least three more Batman movies. However, the DCU will soon need to cast its own Batman because Pattinson’s Bruce Wayne exists within the Elseworlds universe.
