Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered
This month includes several high-profile releases, beginning with Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered. The first entry in Guerrilla Games’ series, this version of the open-world adventure delivers a major technical upgrade that brings it in line with its sequel, Horizon Forbidden West. PS5 owners will receive the remastered edition, while PS4 owners can download the Complete Edition.
The Crew Motorfest, Football Manager 26, and Warriors: Abyss
Although Forza Horizon 6 will not launch on PS5 next month, The Crew Motorfest offers a solid alternative. Set in Honolulu, Hawaii, the game features hundreds of fast cars and a wide range of racing events. Football Manager 26 lets players experience the satisfaction of managing their dream soccer team, while Koei Tecmo’s action roguelite, Warriors: Abyss, features more than 100 playable heroes and endless hordes of monsters to battle.
Squirrel With a Gun
For something more absurd, Squirrel With a Gun delivers exactly what its title suggests. Players control a gun-toting rodent attempting to escape a secret underground facility using any violent means necessary.
The Casting of Frank Stone
Ahead of the release of Directive 8020 next month, players can also experience The Casting of Frank Stone. Set in the Dead by Daylight universe and featuring Supermassive’s signature storytelling, the game follows a group of young friends as they uncover the origins of a gruesome urban legend.
Monster Train
Roguelike deckbuilders have become increasingly popular, and Monster Train offers an opportunity to experience what makes the genre distinctive. This tactical take challenges players to manage three battlegrounds, providing a demanding test of their skills.
Wild Arms 4
Finally, the PlayStation Classics section of the Game Catalog expands this month with Wild Arms 4. Originally released for PS2 in 2005, the JRPG has been enhanced with several quality-of-life features and custom video filters.
PlayStation Plus Monthly Games
All PlayStation Plus members can also claim three games: Lords of the Fallen, Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, and Sword Art Online Fractured Daydream. These games must be claimed by May 4.
